How to manage the care team



BlueJay Engage now allows providers (For Gold/Enterprise users) to manage their own care team of a specific patient. You can create contact list frombefore adding members to the care team. 


Please go to patient dashboard to organize your care team with a few easy steps. 

1. Go to My Patients

2. On the Patient List page, select patient name to go to the Patient Dashboard

3. Select the Care Team tab (For Gold/Enterprise users) to view the entire care team of this patient.



By default, the provider (you) will be the first care team member of this patient. To add more care team member, click on the green "Add Member" button.



Add care team member with a few easy steps,


Add members from My Contacts

Step 1 : Search from Contacts  - Search the contacts from My Contacts

Search the existing providers in your My contact list. Select the checkbox of the provider then click on the "Next" button.

Step 2 : Send a care team invitation

You can put your own message in the invitation letter, please check the consent verification before sending out the invitation.

Click on the "Done" button to send out the email invitation.


Add external members

Step 1 : Click on the Invite button to invite members not in contact list.

Step 2 : Select the type of members ( provider or caregiver)   

Enter the name and email address of the invited member, then click on the "Next" button to conduct the invitation.

Step 3 : Send a care team invitation  

You can put your own message in the invitation letter, please check the consent verification before sending out the invitation.

Click on the "Done" button to send out the email invitation.

Step 4: The invited care team member will receive a email notification from BlueJay with a link to accept the invitation


Step 5.1: External member will need to complete a registration process to launch BlueJay Engage

Step 5.2:  Internal remembers will activate the care team invitation. They do not need to go through the registration process.

Step 6:  Once the care team members log into BlueJay Engage, they will be able to access the patient record


**To remove the care team member, simply click on the care team member, then click on the "Remove from care team" button



This care team member will receive another email notification to the action.
