Getting Started with BlueJay SNF (Non-Admin Therapist)



Before you start using BlueJay, please make sure your system meets our requirements.

*** Camera & Microphone are required for Telehealth Visits. 


1. How to book an inpatient appointment? 

Navigate to Telehealth > Select "Video Conference" button under the "Event Type"

Click on the "Select Facility", you will see a list of Skilled Nursing Facilities you work for. Select a facility from the dropdown menu and choose a Facility Program Manager. 

Select a patient from the sytem, or enter a new patient by clicking the "Add New Patient". 


Enter the appointment date, time, and duration. Once you finished, click "Save".

Once the appointment is comfirmed, you will see the following page. The schueled Facility Program Manager will receive an email comfirmation about this appointment from service@bluejayhealth.com

*Need to invite other patients/healthcare providers to the session? Copy the meeting link, and share it with the other meeting participants via email/text message. 

2. How to view/start the upcoming calls?

Go to Telehealth > Upcoming to view your upcoming calls. To start a call, simply click on the "Start" button. 

*The "Start" button will turn into blue color 5 minutes before the appointment time. If the button is in grey color, that means it's too early to start this call. 

If your patient arrives early, you will see a pop-up reminder at the bottom. Click the "Start" button or the pop-up reminder to start this session when you are ready. 

3. What features you can use during a telehealth visit? 

Once the meeting has begun you will have access to the following features:

*Move your cursor around, you will see the menu at the bottom, click on the three-dot button to access more features such as ROM, Exercise Programs, S.O.A.P note, and view screenshots.
