Getting Started with BlueJay - Clinic Admin



Before you start using BlueJay, please make sure your system meets our requirements.


This article aims to help the clinic admins set up and maintain the outpatient provider-patient database and other operations.


1. How to add/assign providers

Click on the "Add Provider" button to enter a new provider user. 

Enter this provider's First Name, Last Name, Email, User Type, and Speciality. Select the checkbox to assign admin role. When you finished, click on the "Add to Subscription" button.

Need to update an existing provider's profile? Click on the pencil icon to edit his/her profile.

2. How to enter/edit a patient 

Go to the second tab - "Patients", click on the  "Add Patient" button to add a new patient. 

Fill in the required information (with a red star). When you finished, click on "Save".

To edit an existing patient, simply click on the pencil icon to start editing. 

3. How to schedule a telehealth appointment? 

Navigate to "Telehealth > Schedule > select a service therapist from the top dropdown menu > then click on the "Video Conference" button. 

Select a patient from the patient list or use the "Add New Patient" option to add a new patient. Enter the Appointment Date, Time, and Duration. Click "Save" to confirm this appointment.

Once the appointment is confirmed, you will see the following pop-up. BlueJay system will also send the meeting confirmation with the meeting link to your therapist and patient.
